Don't worry, I am going to be seeing you from various distances because whilst the front is fun, it's not within my budget. So far I recommend the last row of the stalls - you can still see everything but also hear the ushers/staff giggling in the aisles.
You absolutely smashed it last night! The laughter headache I went home with attests to that. Enjoyed Steve's set, too, as well as seeing the ever-loveable Bill Napier. My sister, who is not yet a full-blown Darby aficionado (it's my on-going project to make her one), joined me last night and had a brilliant night, too.
I'm looking forward to seeing it again in Bristol, albeit from a bit further back.
I wish I could be there more than one night! I hadn't realised how much, by booking a later show, all these substack and instagram and whatnot posts would tease me all month 🤣 Drones and robots and grannies, oh my!
Hope the granny with the baby in the buggy sticks around for Fringe! The friend I'm going with didn't even know you were coming until I told them (top of our To-Do List is meeting Buttons, actually) so I'll try to make sure we get just the right angle for someone who's seen the (abbreviated US version) show and someone who didn't even know the show was happening!
Having done the front row experience once, you're right when you say it's not actually the best view. Particularly for your shows, because of how you move around the stage. Five or six rows back is the sweet spot.
So happy to see the tour’s going so well. Hope you have a brilliant show tonight – and fingers crossed you and Steve get a chance to check out the Historic Dockyards. Such a cool place 🚢
Front row just once (in home town, Norwich). Then Brighton then Sheffield (further back). Bring friends who have never seen or even heard of you (shocking, I know).

And it’s a joy getting your Daiby messages!
I’m seeing you once from a healthy distance, and promise not to be weird.

Ahhh Portsmouth! A chance to relive your days of sail on HMS Victory at the Historic Dockyards… or submarines at Gosport ⛵️
Don’t Look Forward In Vain
After seeing a pre ‘grandchild biscuit crumbs’ version, I’m trying to picture what that plays out like 😂

Only up front in my home town Brum but I am bringing a complete newbie who may only know you as Percy the penguin 😄

I've just noticed the transposition (is that a word?) of the letters in the title 😆 Dell wone!
Like Mr Topsy Turvy! Byegood! 🤣🙈
