The 1st London show was epic, as to be expected at the mighty Ally Pally venue. A rather jet-lagged Bill Napier brought a bit of lighthearted confusion to the crowd before introducing a new guest to the show, newish Kiwi comic Becky Umbers. I think it's important to support the young acts coming through and so it was a pleasure having her funniness in the lineup. Next, Steve took to the stage and belted out his latest amusings, the laughter from which I could hear back in the dressing room! It's a big room and it can be quite echoee but once the crowd remind you they're there, their laughter easily fills the space. I had a blast this night and found myself improvising a few new bits here and there, like my old lady with the stroller who now feeds biscuit crumbs to the baby. No idea whether that will happen again but she did it at least twice during this show.
Hey, if you missed this epic night of silliness do not fear because as it turns out, I'm back in London on June 13th.
I'll be performing at the Shepard's Bush Empire!!!
ps - I can't believe I managed to get they're there their all in row in a sentence together.

Good to know you had a blast as well!! I travelled from Germany to see the first two shows of your UK tour and it was worth every penny, every weird hotel shower, delayed connection flight and every blister on my feet. This show is absolutely fantastic! Genius and funny as ever, and punching in the right direction if at all. And the loop machine, holy shit! Big laughs from me in that bit as well of course, but mainly I just sat there with my jaw on the floor admiring the mad skill on display. Wow. The thing I love best in all your shows is how you bring back and connect everything for the grand finale, and you did it again this time just as brilliant as ever. As I've been telling all my friends: "He's still got it, and then some"! Thank you for two beautiful performances - I'll be back for the last two in Glasgow and Manchester. Continue to have fun (at least as much as you bring) and feel the love!
Wait, what about the "there, there" that the little old lady might say to the baby? 🤣
